At Spotted Fawn Coffee Roasters, we like to think that our love for coffee drives everything we do. It all began with a simple passion that blossomed into an obsession. From a young age, I couldn't start my day without a lukewarm cup of coffee left over from my dad's early mornings on our family farm. Fast forward, and the explosion of third-wave coffee shops ignited a desire to explore the world of coffee even further.

My husband Mike and I started roasting coffee as a hobby during the COVID days, and it quickly turned into something more. Our initial attempts on a stovetop weren't great, but we were determined to improve. We converted a shed into a tiny home roastery, eventually moving and building a new dedicated coffee roastery. We’re also excited to be under construction for a new cafe!

Small Beginnings, Big Dreams

Spotted Fawn Coffee Roasters may be small, but we aim to bring a smile to your face with every cup of our coffee. We roast in small batches and only use specialty-scored beans, chasing brightness, flavor notes, and your satisfaction. Mike, an entrepreneur and journeyman HVAC expert, owns and operates his HVAC and construction business, which comes in handy with my big ideas. He's responsible for roasting our beans to perfection.

From Farm to Cup

Growing up on a dairy farm in British Columbia, I developed a love for wholesome ingredients and the farm-to-table process. This background influences our approach at Spotted Fawn. We put our whole hearts into roasting coffee, ensuring that every step is handled with care and precision. We source specialty-grade coffee beans from around the world, taking pride in the care, consideration, and work that goes into every batch.

Formal Training and Continuous Learning

Mike and I took formal training at the Barista Institute in Vancouver, B.C., where we learned from some of the most talented people in the industry. This training, combined with our ongoing passion for learning and growing, ensures that our coffee is always top-notch. We have a small but crucial responsibility in the process, and we take it seriously, carefully selecting the best procedures for optimal taste and enjoyment.

Quality Coffee for Any Occasion

Our goal at Spotted Fawn Coffee Roasters is to bring you fresh wholebean coffee that you can enjoy anywhere and everywhere. We roast in small batches, sourcing quality specialty coffee beans from all over the world, and roasting them to bring out bright and beautiful flavors. To complement our coffee, 95% of the baking in our cafe is done from scratch, using wholesome ingredients that I fell in love with on our family farm.
