A Delightful Coffee Experience
RIP Coffee Company is a newly established micro roastery in the County of Grande Prairie, dedicated to providing exceptional coffee experiences. Although RIP Coffee Company does not presently serve brewed coffee for your experience at this time, it is something they are working towards in the future. RIP Coffee is roasted using only premium single-origin Arabica beans from a Heritage Estate Farm that has been producing award-winning beans since the 1800s. These premium hand-picked beans are shade-grown on volcanic soil, naturally processed, and expertly roasted. Whether you prefer a strong espresso or a smooth pour-over, RIP Coffee Company has something to satisfy every palate.
Why Choose RIP Coffee Company?
At RIP Coffee Company, we’re a little different compared to other artisan micro roasters. Here’s why:
Sustainability Focus
Sustainability isn't just a catchy buzzword for us. At RIP Coffee Company, we truly source our coffee beans directly from a sustainable, environmentally responsible, and ethical producer. Because we deal directly with one single farmer, the farm allows us to display their certifications on our site and labels.
Unique Flavor Profile
RIP Coffee offers a range of roasts and blends with unique, natural flavor profiles, crafted using premium beans and meticulous roasting methods. Our roast profiles are not enhanced with gimmicks or added flavors to mask low-quality beans.
Direct-to-Consumer Approach
At RIP, our focus is to provide you with premium quality coffee at an affordable price point. This is why we don’t have fancy printed bags or a brick-and-mortar store—yet. Compare our pricing and volume (16oz/1LB/454g) to your favorite coffee.
Farm-to-Cup
It’s not just our attitude that makes us different from the majority of micro roasters on the market. At RIP Coffee Company, our beans come directly from a "single farm," a step above and beyond the typical "single origin" offerings that dominate the market. This is why RIP can truly state the distinction of "farm-to-cup" coffee.
The Farm
We work with a single coffee estate located in the Pacific Mountain region of Nicaragua, Central America. Established in 1885, this strictly high elevation coffee estate sits at the top of an active volcano among thick jungle terrain, covering just over 4,600 acres of pristine natural habitat. The farm is considered one of the last large non-industrial coffee farms in all of the Americas. As a certified heritage estate farm, this protected area not only produces some of the finest coffee but is also a certified exotic bird sanctuary.
The Bean
Our coffee beans are harvested and dried in a very different manner than most on the market today, placing them in a specialty category with the highest possible cupping scores beans can achieve. The processes require more work and more time, but they are well worth it. Experience a taste of Nicaragua with every cup of RIP Coffee Company's artisan crafted coffee.
Roasting
Coffee roasting is more than just a process; it's an art form. At RIP Coffee Company, we use top-quality industrial-grade machines designed to roast coffee with precision, speed, and style. Our passion for coffee is matched only by our commitment to sourcing beans produced in an ethical, sustainable manner.
