Welcome to Anecdote Coffee Roasters, the brainchild of Jonathon and Brandy. Our journey began with two coffee shops, a coffee subscription service, and even a pizza shop. However, our entrepreneurial spirit yearned for more. We dreamed of creating a coffee roasting business, and thus, Anecdote Coffee Roasters was born.

Our journey towards building our coffee roastery unfolded between 2020 and 2022. Like any construction project, we faced our share of challenges and delays. Our production roaster, initially quoted to be ready in 10 months, took a year to arrive. We also grappled with the typical HVAC issues that come with setting up a roastery.

In January 2022, we welcomed a new addition to our family - the Loring S15 Falcon, our main production roaster. Jayce, our dedicated roaster, was thrilled to start crafting unique blends on this magnificent machine.

Anecdote Coffee Roasters is more than just a business; it’s a family. Jonathon and Brandy lead the way as owners, with Sarah managing office administration, Kale lending a helping hand, and Jayce masterfully roasting our beans. Each member of our team plays a crucial role in bringing our coffee to life.

Our mission at Anecdote is to share the stories of everyone involved in the coffee journey. We aim to visit the producer farms and document the coffee process, focusing on the real heroes of our story - the farmers. These individuals have dedicated their lives to coffee cultivation, either through family inheritance or as a means to support their families. We want to ensure that their stories are heard and celebrated.

While we prepare for these travels, we promise to provide you with the best information about each coffee we source. Our hope is that as the years pass, we can share more and more about the journey of our coffee. We invite you to follow us and join us on this exciting adventure.
