1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Roasters Map, a platform operated by Roasters Map, Canada (“Roasters Map,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Buyer Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of Roasters Map as a Buyer (“Buyer,” “you,” or “your”) for the purchase of products and services.
Roasters Map operates in two primary capacities:
•Direct Seller: Selling barista training courses, coffee brewing equipment, and Roasters Map branded merchandise directly to Buyers.
•Marketplace Facilitator: Providing a platform where independent Sellers list and sell coffee-related products and services.
By using Roasters Map to purchase products or services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the platform for purchases.
2. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them:
•Buyer: Any individual or business that purchases products or services on Roasters Map.
•Seller: Any individual or business registered to sell products or services on Roasters Map.
•Product: Any coffee-related goods listed for sale on Roasters Map by a Seller or directly by Roasters Map.
•Service: Any coffee-related service, such as barista training or equipment maintenance, offered by Sellers or directly by Roasters Map.
•Order: A confirmed purchase of a product or service through Roasters Map.
•Dispute: Any disagreement between a Buyer and a Seller regarding a transaction, which Roasters Map may mediate.
•Return and Refund Policy: The policy set by each Seller (or by Roasters Map for direct sales) regarding how returns and refunds are handled.
3. BUYER ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
•You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to make purchases on Roasters Map.
•Buyers may be required to create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your name, contact details, and payment information.
•You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
•Roasters Map reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if the information provided is found to be untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete.
4. PURCHASING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
4.1 Product and Service Listings
•Buyers may purchase only coffee-related products and services available on Roasters Map.
•Direct Sales by Roasters Map: For products and services sold directly by us, descriptions, pricing, and availability are maintained by Roasters Map, though subject to change without notice.
•Marketplace Transactions: For products and services sold by independent Sellers, all details (including descriptions, prices, and shipping information) are provided by the Seller. Roasters Map does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or performance of these items.
•Buyers should review all product or service details carefully before placing an order.
4.2 Order Placement and Payment
•By placing an order on Roasters Map, you agree to purchase the selected product or service from the respective Seller or directly from Roasters Map.
•All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by the Seller (for marketplace transactions) or by Roasters Map (for direct sales).
•You agree to pay the full amount, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees, as displayed at checkout.
•Payments are processed securely through our payment system. Roasters Map does not store your payment details.
•We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancel orders if we suspect fraudulent activity.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
5.1 Marketplace Transactions (Third-Party Sellers)
•Sellers are solely responsible for shipping, packaging, and delivery of their products.
•Shipping times and costs are determined by the Seller and are shown on the product listing.
•Roasters Map is not liable for shipping delays, lost shipments, or damaged goods for marketplace transactions. Buyers should contact the Seller directly for shipping-related issues.
5.2 Direct Sales (Roasters Map Orders)
•Orders sold directly by Roasters Map are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days from order confirmation.
•Shipping charges are calculated at checkout, and free shipping may apply based on product eligibility.
•A tracking number will be provided once the order is shipped.
•If a product arrives damaged, you must notify us at [email protected] within 48 hours with supporting photographs.
6. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND DISPUTES

6.1 Return and Refund Policy
•Marketplace Transactions: Each Seller sets their own return and refund policy, which is provided on the product page.
•Direct Sales: Returns for eligible products are accepted within 14 days of purchase, subject to the conditions in our Return and Refund Policy. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after inspection of the returned item.
•Certain items, such as personalized, digital, or perishable goods, may be non-refundable.
6.2 Order Cancellations
•Marketplace Transactions: Cancellation policies vary by Seller and should be reviewed before purchase.
•Direct Sales: Orders can be canceled only if they have not yet been processed or shipped.
•Roasters Map reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, stock unavailability, or pricing errors.
6.3 Dispute Resolution
•If a dispute arises between you and a Seller, we may offer mediation services; however, Roasters Map does not guarantee refunds or settlements for marketplace transactions.
•Fraudulent refund claims or chargebacks may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
•You must not circumvent Roasters Map’s payment system by arranging direct payments with Sellers outside of the platform.
•Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or refund requests is prohibited.
•Listing or purchasing items that are not coffee-related, counterfeit, or illegal is not permitted.
•Harassment, abuse, or threats towards other users or Roasters Map staff are strictly prohibited.
•Roasters Map reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violations of these terms.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT USAGE
•Sellers retain ownership of their product images, branding, and content. However, by listing on our platform, Sellers grant Roasters Map a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote their listings.
•Roasters Map reserves the right to remove any content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights or violates these terms.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
•Roasters Map acts solely as a marketplace facilitator and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or performance of products or services provided by Sellers.
•Roasters Map is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from transactions between Buyers and Sellers.
•In no event shall Roasters Map be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. INDEMNIFICATION
•You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roasters Map, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
•Violations of this Agreement.
•Disputes with Sellers.
•Any legal claims related to products or services purchased through the platform.
11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
•These Buyer Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
•Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
•You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or class-action lawsuit in relation to disputes with Roasters Map.
